1. Neelyville Lady Tigers (2-0) The Lady Tigers have out scored their opponents 32-0 in their first two contest. Pitching is key for the Lady Tigers if they can get solid outings in the circle they could be making a Final Four run in late October.
2. Doniphan Donettes (2-0) Off to a great start allowing only 2 runs while scoring 24 in the East Carter Showcase. Donettes have a good offense and defense. Pitching will be challenged this year.
3. Van Buren Lady Dawgs (1-2) Picked up a big win against the Lady Redbirds, but dropped 2 games to Neelyville and Doniphan. Very young group of girls with a couple of big hitters at the top of their line up.
4. Naylor Lady Eagles (0-4) Naylor played in the Tuff Rockwood Summit Inv. losing all 4 games. BUT, They played Sikeston and Incarnate Wood very close. Not bad for a class 1 school going up against class 4 and 5 schools
5. East Carter Lady Redbirds (1-1) The lady Redbirds split on the weekend 1-1. Beating Scott C. Central and losing to Van Buren. Also very young. The Lady Redbirds do not have a Senior on the team, they will rely on 4 returning starters from last years Final Four Team.
6. Twin Rivers Lady Royals (0-0) - Did not play over the opening weekend. First game should come after 9/2.
